Q: How did Donut Country begin?
A: Rick and Carol Egles caught wind of a doughnut shop for sale in Murfreesboro in 1986 and moved their family from South Florida to pursue their dreams of being business owners. The Egles owned the business for over 30 years before their daughter Kristy and husband Bo Davis purchased it in April 2017.
Q: Where can I buy Donut Country doughnuts?
A: Our doughnuts are sold at both our main location and our satellite location. We also deliver a small assortment daily to Just Love Coffee at 129 MTCS Rd. Murfreesboro, TN, and All American Café at 2805 Old Fort Pkwy, Murfreesboro, TN.
Q: Do you deliver?
A: Our full menu is available for delivery through Uber Eats and DoorDash. We will personally deliver large orders, upon request.
Q:Do you sell the same doughnuts every day?
A: We sell the same variety of fresh, homemade doughnuts and pastries daily and offer seasonal flavors that change every three months.
Q: Do you only sell doughnuts?
A: No! We sell doughnuts, doughnut holes, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, doughnut hole cakes, bagels and breakfast biscuits, as well as chicken salad, egg salad, tuna salad and pimiento cheese on your choice of bread or croissant.
Q:Are your products allergy friendly?
A: Yes! Our store is a 100% nut free facility. Our doughnuts and pastries do include flour, dairy and eggs.
Q: When can I purchase doughnuts, pastries or a sandwich?
A: We typically operate our Memorial Boulevard location 24/7, but our current, temporary hours are 4:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday. Our Middle Tennessee Boulevard location is open Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and Saturdays 6:00 a.m. to noon.
Q: Do you make any seasonal doughnuts?
A:Yes! Every three months we introduce a new seasonal doughnut. In the past we've done carrot cake, pumpkin cake, lemon poppy seed cake, apple crisp cake and more! Check out our Facebook page for updates.
Q: When are your doughnuts the freshest?
A: Our doughnuts are aways fresh as they are made nightly. The best time to get a hot doughnut is between the hours of 9 p.m. and midnight.
Q: What is a doughnut hole cake?
A: We use between 12 and 14 dozen doughnut holes to make "cakes" for any occasion. The doughnut holes can be arranged in any variation of numbers or letters and are decorated with your choice of icing and sprinkles.
