Donut Country plans event for doughnut and dog lovers alike

Do you love doughnuts? Are you looking to add a new furry friend to your family? Donut Country of Murfreesboro is partnering with PAWS, Rutherford County's local animal shelter, for a fun day of Doughnuts and Dogs.

Owner of Donut Country, Kristy Davis, says it is very important to them to be involved with other organizations in the community and they want to raise awareness about the growing number of dogs in PAWS shelter that need homes. The event will be held at Donut Country on December 5th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees can meet and play with adoptable dogs and 20% all proceeds from Donut Country's sales that day will be donated back to PAWS.
